Good Afternoon
What a lovely day it has been - so sunny!
I had a chat to Caroline Fisher of the Gloucestershire Echo on the phone yesterday about my trek and fundraising so far and also the plans for the Touch of Pink Ball. She will be printing an little write up in the Echo tomorrow about everything! The photographer came down in the afternoon and our lovely German Shepherd, Tilly, came to the office to have her photo taken with me to go in the paper!
Tilly is only 11 months old and rather full of energy so I was thrilled that she was on her best behaviour and hopefully her picture will be lovely! She was asked to join me in the photograph as she has been my dedicated running partner throughout my training. She is always on her best behaviour out running which makes up for her learning how to jump out the kitchen window at home!
Do grab a copy of the Echo if you can and have a read...!
I would like to say the BIGGEST thank you so far to John and Anya at the Halfway at Kineton! They have been the most supportive people, especially as we don't visit the Halfway as much as we used to now we live in Barrington. Although when Nell is there I'm sure he makes up for it! They are amazing people and have only been at the pub for just over a year - on Sunday I went for lunch and they so kindly donated £337 from donations they have been collecting for me! I was completely amazed and so thrilled with their generosity so a huge thank you to everyone who contributed!
If you ever fancy somewhere lovely to go for dinner - I highly recommend the Halfway and the duck in particular is delicious!
Anyway, my training is going well - I have dropped a jean size already so something must be working!
Please get in touch to book your Touch of Pink Ball Tickets - it will be a great night and not to be missed!!
xx
